Donkas Lab @ Sunway Geo Avenue
Not really a fan of korean food. The things I usually go for when it comes to korean is limited to Korean Fried Chicken and some Korean BBQ once in awhile. But the food here is so good and it opened my eyes to a new type of korean food which I actually enjoy.

The ambiance of the place is very modern and contemporary where the outlet focuses not just on food but also on entertainments as well. The restaurant includes a personal stage where there will be singing performance during the weekends and a kids playground as well. The restaurant just opened this year and it is still fairly unknown to most people.

Donkas Lab specializes in donkas which is the equivalent of Korean's version of Japan's dish, Tonkatsu which is basically pork cutlet. What makes donkas special is how the meat complements with multiple of dishes served.

Both meals comes with a glass of ice lemon tea and complementary sides of kimchi and radish.

Kimchi Fried Rice with Donkas (RM 25)
I settled for the Kimchi Fried Rice with Donkas as I haven't tried kimchi fried rice before but wow. My fried rice was sticky just the way I wanted it and has evident kimchi seasonings which made it much more savoury due to the mild sourness. Besides that, the donkas is really delicious as it is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Feels like a combination of nugget and katsu at the same time. The donkas was really big as well as it covers 1/3 of my plate.

Donkas Cheese Ramyun (RM 20)
My gf settled on noodles where it was equally as good. The noodles were really chewy and it also satisfies her cheese cravings. Then, the donkas was paired really well with the broth where it was partially soggy and crispy. 


Price: 6.5/10
Ambiance: 7/10
Food: 8/10
Verdict: Price is decent but definitely coming back here for the donkas!

    donkas lab menu is a really good toppoki where u can never find anywhere else. Donkas is also crispy yet juicy, And I’m just very happy that they can cater to ppl who can’t take spicy food! Rose jjampong is super good too.

Jibril cafe Are you a big fan of salted egg butter chicken? If you are then Jibril is a place to check out! They are a halal speakeasy bar that is located in SS15. Usually people tend to come here during dinner time tho it may be a little pack during the day especially after 2pm. Dao, Subang ss15 Dao is a dessert shop that is located at ss15. This dessert shop focuses on soymilk and beancurd and all their soya is different from the others and they are freshly made. This place is usually not as crowded compared to the 'boba street'. Therefore, it is a really good place for students to chill with their friend with silent environment.   This is one of their famous dessert. This is the beancurd with the black sesame paste. I usually order this with 'tong yuen' with just RM1 extra charges.  Their ice-cream is also one of their popular item in the store. The taste of their ice-cream is soymilk which is very rare in Kuala Lumpur as most of the ice-cream always go with the main-stream such as vanilla and chocolate.
